Kingsport Parks and Recreation Summer Program is open to children ages 6-12 years old. (If your child is not yet 6, he/she must have completed Kindergarten and turn 6 by September 1st) Activities include swimming, theme weeks, sports camps, special trips, on-site activities and games, & much more! Lunch and snack is provided. Each site has a maximum registration limit and site availability cannot be guaranteed. Participants are registered on a first come, first serve basis.
Timeline: Program begins the Tuesday following Memorial Day and will extend through Mid-July.
Program Sites and Times:
- V.O. Dobbins, Sr. Complex (7:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.)
- John Adams Elementary (7:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.)
- Lynn View Community Center (7:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.)
- Lincoln Elementary (8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.)
Program Cost: (This is for the entire duration of the program; not a weekly rate)
Extended Sites (VOD, Adams, Lynn View) = $100 City Resident; $120 Non-City Resident
Non-Extended Site (Lincoln) = $60 City Resident; $80 Non-City Resident
*This price includes activity fee for field trips, t-shirt, and lunch.
