Brickyard Park Pump Track
Built by Velosolutions USA and American Ramp Company, the Kingsport Pump Track is one of a handful of asphalt pump tracks in the state of Tennessee. The pump track was designed by former Swiss World Cup Downhill mountain biker and Velosolutions founder Claudio Calouri.
This Kingsport track includes traditional pump track features like rollers, berms, and transfer opportunities, but it also has standout features like the Progressive Bike Ramps wallride and an integrated asphalt jump line for a full bike experience. It is designed for open use riding but can also facilitate racing. The track accommodates beginner to expert riders, and is open to a wide range of rider skill levels, abilities, and ages.
This pump track is designed to be fun to ride in and of itself, but it also provides an excellent training circuit for developing biking skills and confidence by learning to ride contours in terrain and control speed by “pumping” the bike. The rider also learns to ride berms and the learn the foundational competencies for jumping a bicycle.
