Indian Highland Park is owned and operated by the Kingsport City School System.

The Park features include:

A 200 ft lighted/fenced softball field with bleacher seating and an electronic scoreboard. Base anchors at 60′.

A children’s playground, outdoor restrooms, a band practice field, a water fountain, a soccer field, batting cages, a walking path and an indoor soccer facility are also available at the park. Indian Highland Park is open dawn to dark, except when scheduled for events.

Hunter Wright Stadium – Baseball Fields

Hunter Wright Stadium is a minor league baseball facility in Kingsport, TN, named for the popular multi-term former mayor. Built in 1995, it seats 2,500. Hunter Wright is the home field of the Kingsport Mets, an affiliate of the New York Mets, in the Appalachian League.

The facility is managed by the Kingsport Convention and Visitors Bureau.

The stadium is located just a couple of miles from the Tennessee-Virginia line.

The Park features include:

Grandstand seating and reserved seating, picnic spaces, full service concessions, batting cages, a press box, and team locker and exercise rooms.

Preston Forest Park – Baseball / Softball Fields

Preston Forest Park is a 3 acre neighborhood park with many recreation components.  

Park features include:

A backstop for softball/baseball recreational play.

An asphalt basketball court, a children’s playground, open green space, an outdoor fire grill, park benches, a 390 sq. ft. pavilion, a small parking area, picnic tables, soccer goals and a water fountain are also available at the park. Preston Forest Park is open dawn to dark, except when scheduled for events.

Sevier Middle School – Baseball / Softball Fields

Sevier Middle School field is operated by the Kingsport City School  System.

The Facility features include:

1 dirt infield, fenced/lighted softball/baseball field with no parameter fencing.  

Batting cages, base anchors 60’ and 70’, spectator bleachers, a paved track, and open green space are also available at the facility.

Robinson Middle School – Baseball/Softball Fields

Robinson Middle School field is operated by the Kingsport City School System.

The Facility features include:  

1 dirt infield, fenced/lighted softball/baseball field, 1 – 325′ distance and a pitching mound at 60’6” with base anchors at 90’ and 70”.

Batting cages, spectator bleachers, restrooms, a paved track and open green space are also available at the facility.

Lynn View Community Center – Baseball / Softball Fields

Adjacent to Lynn View Community Center is a neighborhood park with many recreation elements.  The Lynn Garden Sports Club operates youth baseball activities and leagues at the park.  

The Park features include:

A dirt infield, fenced/unlighted baseball/softball field, LF/280’CF/210 RF and a dirt infield, fenced/unlighted baseball/softball field, LF/200’CF/190’ RF. The field has bleacher seating and an electric scoreboard.

A children’s play structure, multi-purpose community center, a regulation size football field, a 3 lane track, multi-purpose open green space and water fountains are also available at the park.

Lynn View Park is open dawn to dark, except when scheduled for events.

Domtar Park – Baseball / Softball Fields

Domtar Park is a multi-purpose community park located on Long Island of the Holston River.  Long Island has historic significance as a site where peaceful Indian gatherings were held.  The Cherokee Nation owns property on Long Island, which is commemorated by a stone marker. The park has high quality athletic fields which are open when scheduled for events.  Domtar Park is a tobacco-free facility.

The Park features include:

2 – 200′ distance Bermuda grass infield ball fields, 2 – 350’ distance Bermuda grass infield ball fields, 2 – 200’ distance dirt infield ball fields, 2 – 300’ distance dirt infield ball fields and 2 – batting cages (open year round). Each field is suitable for either baseball or softball, is equipped with an electronic scoreboard and bleachers and is fenced/lighted. 

2 – 13′ x 17′ climate controlled meeting rooms, an 11′ x 18′ boat access ramp, full service concessions (operated by Kingsport Parks and Recreation), a large children’s playground, 2 lighted flagpoles, lighted parking lots, a 3,315 linear foot paved walking trail, picnic tables with umbrellas, ornamental landscaping, restrooms and a sand volleyball court are also available at the park.

Brickyard Park is a premier sports facility located on property formerly owned by General Shale Inc. 

The Park features include:

1 – 300′ distance, dirt infield ball field, 2 – 325′ distance, dirt infield ball fields and 1 – 350′ distance, dirt infield ball field with grandstand seating bleachers and shade structures. Each field is suitable for either baseball or softball, is equipped with an electric scoreboard and bleachers and is fenced/lighted.

A 10′ x 11′ climate controlled meeting room on the first floor of a two story central tower with viewing windows is available for rent. A lighted flagpole, restrooms, lighted parking lots, picnic tables with umbrellas, ornamental landscaping and full service concessions (operated by Kingsport Parks and Recreation) are also located at the park.

Brickyard Park is open when scheduled for events and is a tobacco free facility.
