Community Centers
The Community Center mission is to meet the diverse needs and interests
of both the immediate community and city residents at large, through implementation of
various programs and activities ranging from educational to recreational in nature.

Borden Park Community Center and V. O.
Dobbins Community Center both offer ongoing
structured and low-organized programs, arts and crafts, sports, after-school study hours, and other
activities and events as opportunity and interest warrant. It is the aim
of the Community Centers to provide quality leisure time events, programs and activities for all youth and adults in the Borden Park
and Riverview communities, as
well as other surrounding neighborhoods.
Center Hours:
Monday-Friday, 9:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
Hours will be extended during spring and
summer months
Indoor Facilities:
2 billiard tables, air hockey table,
various board games, ping pong table
Outdoor Facilities:
17 spacious acres, 6 lighted tennis
courts, full court basketball, various playground apparatus for kids, handicapped accessible play area for kids,
7 picnic shelters with barbeque grills, 34 badminton courts, volleyball court, fitness/walking trails complete with
fitness stations, small field for pickup softball games, disc golf games.
